Here is my entry! Let the Beat Drop As raindrops fell and splat in the street, thunder boomed like a bass but, Ida danced to the beat. More drops whirled while the wind whistled a tune. They tickled her nose on a wet afternoon. She tap-danced in puddles, and splashed all the trees. Then batted the branches holding glistening leaves. When it poured in waves, Ida ran inside fast. The house seemed to shake, and the lightning crashed. Rain rattled the windows, and clung to the screen. It pounded the yard, ‘til it flowed a stream. Then all of a sudden, The noise just stopped. There was no more thunder. No lightning. No drops. A rainbow appeared to Ida’s delight. The sun shining through was a beautiful sight. The flowers rose up To applaud the rain As the last drop dripped off the roof, down the drain.
